Dodger game was fun. We weren't expecting much, but we both really enjoyed ourselves. Those Dodger fans are a loud bunch! The sun was blazing down on us with no cover where we were sitting. We both put on lots of sunscreen, but little ole white me came home with a blazingly burnt chest. Ouch!
I didn't get an "official" workout in yesterday, but I made certain that I walked lots of stairs and we parked as far as we could from the stadium. Not what I had hoped for, but it was some movement.
Today I had a deep tissue massage...and boy was it! I'm sore like crazy already. I've asked the massage therapist to help me loosen up my back and shoulders for Bikram. I seem to have been blessed with shoulders of steel which seem to help with things like moving furniture...but doing the yoga that I love, it tends to hinder my practice. I'm hoping that this massage will help me get into my poses.
Our business is booming! I swear, I was getting bored before and now I'm having trouble fitting everything in. So after my massage, I drove home in a daze and ate a small amount, dressed and went to the office for a meeting and to make a small dent in my mountains of paperwork... picked up my new glasses and a new cell phone for my walks since I have a Treo for business, but it's just not practical for walking around.. It's nice and small, love it!...
Then we stopped and got a bite at Nordstrom's... as we were leaving I said "aren't you glad I'm not a shopper? If I was thinner I'd shop a lot more".. my darling husband said "I'll just keep feeding you cupcakes, it's cheaper!" Maybe I should use that as fuel in my quest! Silly boy.

Still working on building on my stamina in workouts.. having some respiratory problems still. Diet needs lots of work too... rushed in my days and my stomach hasn't been happy with a lot of food. I know that it will all come together soon.
We're going back down to Burbank in the morning and will be back later tomorrow evening. We're taking our skates again and hopefully we will have the time and energy to go for a nice skate... or get a walk in before it gets dark.
I'm looking forward to a nice long time staying close to home so I can get my training pumped up and in a groove as well as my diet rock'in!
Life is good and it's getting better every day!
