Starting Again

On my quest to move farther and farther away from anyone EVER talking to me about gastric bypass I had a good day.. getting my groove back little by little.

I'm not sure if I'll be back at the 3 hour a day cardio like Kim Oddo had me on for almost 18 months.. that was tough and my body didn't respond like we all had hoped. Now with the blood sugar and blood pressure managed, I'm hoping that my body will respond and be kind enough to drop this dang fat!!

So this morning I did 20 mins of intervals 30sec/30sec then about 100 KB swings, then another 20 mins of treadmill and some stretching. It's a start that I will keep building upon.

Food:
Coffee/cream
big salad with bell peppers/asparagus/4oz pressure cooker beef
sm svg fettuccine, chicken piccatta, and a salad salad

We're going to a Dodger game tomorrow with one of our insurance company reps. We went out and bought Dodger hats so we'll be "in". So we must get to bed early tonight instead of staying up into the wee hours watching the Olympics.

We also went and spent a pretty penny at Chico's for me. We're meeting with a lot more clients than before and so I need some comfortable, business looking clothes to wear. We walked by Ann Taylor, where I used to shop for most of my clothes, and the things in the windows were so cute! I miss the more form fitting clothes. But now I have some cute things for a few meetings and for work.. even a Dodger Blue t-shirt for tomorrow.

Greg and I talked tonight and I want to become a RKC. Maybe it's the Olympic spirit that's got a hold of me, but I don't think so... I've liked KB's from the start and having a goal for me is a good thing...besides just losing weight and getting and staying healthy.. I want to be a part of the kettlebell generation and be able to help others to use and love kettlebells.

To reach this goal I need to swing, swing, swing to start off... improve my endurance.. then make a plan with an certified RKC....I'm thinking Tracy :) We'll see if she'll take me... she'll kick my butt and keep me honest, I know that!! How lucky am I!

Jen!!!

What a great freakin' idea! OMG we have so much to talk about, where do I start?

First I was going to encourage you to use your blog as your training journal...you beat me to it and started anyway. I can' tell you how happy I am....this is a good sign!

And there's nothing like the Olympics to inspire. RKC, totally doable, and what a story! You are a miracle.

Talk with you soon,

Tracy
