Everything is GREAT!!

Hi.. is there anybody out there???

I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't. I haven't posted here since the beginning of the year. Not because things have been bad, but because things have been really, really GOOD! We have been so incredibly busy with our business. We thought that we'd have some time off over the holidays, but we've been going non-stop. It's really been great for us. I've even hired an employee to help us, which we've needed for a long time and now we can afford it with the new clients that we've taken on... so..... things are great.

I got confirmation that I have thoracic outlet syndrome with a really cool 3-D MRI at UCLA. My vascular system is pretty clogged up but I've been working with a great physical therapist and just in a short time I've made some progress. The bummer for the short term is that I can't lift more than 5lbs, this includes a purse, weights, kettlebells.. anything. I'm using a special vest during the day for a short time to help train my shoulders back (it's way more technical than that...there are a lot more muscles involved...but shoulders is the easy description)... and I wear the vest at night when I sleep to help open my chest up so I can sleep through the night because they found that one of the reason that I wake up every two hours is because not enough blood gets to my brain because of the thoracic outlet syndrome and so my body wakes me up, then I stand up, then I go back to sleep...then the cycle starts over again.. with the vest, I've been sleeping through the night.. I'm on night number 5.. It's amazing to have some good sleep in me for a change!

So life is good. Business is good and my body is getting squared away.. yahoooooooo!!!

Jen,

Wow, capitol letters? Things must be great! Getting our bodies squared away, somehow, becomes our biggest focus as we get older and things go wacky.

I think it's easy to look around, appreciate where we live, the things that we have (the things that we own), the people that love us, but when we add in feeling good, I mean really good, physically, on top of that, then how can things not be GREAT?

Hi Tracy! It's so funny, you must have ESP! I starting writing an email to you last night since I haven't had time to read your blog or write in mine for a long time...and then here you are!

I did peek in and see that another San Jose RKC has come and gone... it looked great!

I'll finish up my email to you tonight, so look for it in your email...we're still coming up your way at the end of May for our nephews graduation...we'll have my inlaws with us but I'm hoping we can work something out...

OK.. talk soon! xoxo Jen
